Responsible for coordinating survey activities, maintaining a wide range of spreadsheets and research projects, training faculty and staff in procedures to enter planning and assessment data into SPOL, and maintaining a calendar of meetings, projects, and deadlines.

Minimum Education/Training/Experience

Associate’s degree or higher and three (3) years of related office work experience.

Preferred Education/Training/Experience

Bachelors degree.

Minimum Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of data structure.
• Technical writing ability.
• Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects.
• Knowledge of survey design.
• Ability to make accurate arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to perform technical, specialized, complex, difficult, or basic office support work.
• Operating standard office equipment. 
• Ability to read and explain rules, policies, and procedures.
• Experience compiling and summarizing information and preparing periodic or special reports.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Ability to lead and train staff and/or students.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Word processing and/or data entry skills.
• Knowledge of office management principles and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
• Communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction

Job Duties

1. Supports a routine survey cycle of students, faculty, and staff. 
2. Supports and creates ad hoc surveys for program and institutional assessment. 
3. Generates summary reports of survey results.
4. Responds to ad-hoc requests for information from internal and external entities. 
5. Supervises student workers in support of survey and other data entry as required.
6. Maintains and uploads files in SPOL. 
7. Trains faculty and staff on entering planning and assessment data into SPOL as needed.
8. Creates technical documentation in support of institutional effectiveness processes.
9. Manages multiple projects, sets priorities, meets deadlines, and works independently.
10. Maintains a calendar of project deadlines, meetings, and other such events.
11. Maintains and updates t department Info Central folder and Internet pages.
12. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
