ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: Salary commensurate with experience within state guidelines

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the EET - Elect Engineering Tec department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
* Planning - Supervises the departmental planning process through engagement of the program faculty.
* Curriculum - compliance with accrediting agencies, directs the development and delivery of curriculum, oversees implementation, ongoing assessment for continuous improvement of student learning, participates in academic program review.
* Scheduling and Course Management - ensures course schedules are accurate, monitors departmental course offerings, monitors and ensures accuracy of program publications.
* Supervision/Evaluation - performs classroom observations, responsible for overall supervision of the program faculty, communicates clearly the established standards of employment, promotes professional growth and development of faculty.
*Public Relations/College and Community - serves effectively on committees and support the continuing accreditation of the college and programs ,participates in student advising and enrollment initiatives, participates in recruiting, retention and persistence efforts.
*Instructional Responsibilities - teaches course load as assigned, distributes reviews and explains updates syllabus to each class. Adapts materials for accessibility to meet individual student needs, provides regular and objective evaluation and feedback to students, grade work in a timely manner.
*Professional Development - develops a professional development plan in conjunction with supervisor, attends courses/seminars/workshops as requested, maintains credentials needed for discipline, monitors faculty professional development as related to curriculum development , assessment, and accreditation.
*Other duties as assigned

A Doctorate or a Master's degree with a major in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or a related field or a Doctorate or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in electrical engineering, engineering technology or a related field or a Bachelor's degree with a major in electrical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field and documented professional license in the field.
Supervision and /or administrative experience in related field is preferred.
