Pool Title POOL - American Sign Language Instructor - Continuing EducaitonPool Number F15-21Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Instructors will be responsible for teaching weekly classes on or off campus to a variety of populations.
The American Sign Language classes offered through Continuing Education are non-credit and are intended to introduce students to the process and structure of American Sign Language, building on these skills as students’ progress through each level and prepare to pass the ASL exam.
This teaching position is part-time and applicants may be asked to teach weekday evenings and/or Saturday classes, depending on the need. Duties
- Teach face-to-face classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
- Teach online classes as needed by the Department.
- Incorporate latest instructional technologies & interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
- Advise students who are in the program.
- Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
